This is the third piece from my Invisible Illnesses series, completed for Lupus.
The color representing Lupus is purple, and I tried to incorporate that everywhere. The butterfly is for the butterfly rash that appears. The sunhat is for the light sensitivity. Her eyes are closed to represent dry eyes, and the lavender is for the fatigue people with Lupus live through.
I'm aware there are many, many more symptoms. If you would like to better understand Lupus, please do look it up and maybe consider donating to finding a cure through Lupus Foundation of America.
